The aim of this training course is to improve the personal development and employability of mobility instructors and to promote the recognition of the skills acquired during learning periods abroad for the beneficiaries. The training and certification of European vocational mobility instructor brings real benefit to the learners’ mobility in Europe, in particular through ECVET (European Credit system for Vocational Education and Training) expertise, which improves the modernization of education and training, mobility and lifelong learning.

Target audience

Professionals in the fields of vocational education and training, youth mobilities, human resources and staff mobility in larger companies

Professionals who wish to develop the organization of European mobilities and / or European projects in pedagogical engineering or wish to improve their practices in this field.


  • Impulse and value mobility projects within its organization and externally.

Evaluate the scope and context of the mobility project; develop a relevant network of local, national and European partners

  • Lead the implementation of ECVET mobility projects.

Select the participants, organize the placement in the company, prepare and lead the sending preparatory meetings, ensure the hosting logistical and pedagogical aspects

  • Evaluate, validate and recognize learning outcomes with the ECVET system

Identify learning outcomes; implement the evaluation and recognition system with international partners

  • Administrative and financial management of a project
  • Improve the quality of the vocational training offered by the projects
  • Improve the quality of mobility in Europe

  • Apprenticeship in Europe
  • Transnational ECVET mobility
  • Intercultural communication and project management
  • The assessment in the field of ECVET
  • Information and communication technologies
  • Work placement in France or abroad

Prerequisite training

  • Diploma in social sciences and / or business administration and / or pedagogy + 1 year experience in vocational education and training


  • Professional level 4 (EQF – European qualifications framework) + minimum 2 years’ experience as a trainer or teacher


  • No diploma + minimum 1 year experience in European or international mobility coordination

Language skills

English (Level B1 minimum)

French (Level B2 minimum)

Approximate duration : 8 weeks

240 hours including 170 hours of training  and 70 hours of intership

In a training centre (Lyon) : 84 hours (2 days per week during 6 weeks)

Personal work or e-learning : 86 hours

Internship in France or in Europe : 70 hours (2 weeks)

French certification  “Conseiller Alternance Europe”  recognized by the Federation of Vocational Education (CP FFP) – European vocational mobility instructor certificate: (website only available in French)
